3:33 p.m. - Caller from Gibson Drive reporting threats from their neighbor’s daughter. Ongoing issues with neighbor from earlier in the day shift. Female party was advised of her options. Male party was advised to stay away from her as well.
4:13 p.m – Units checking the woods for possible tents and people in the woods between Gibson Drive and the hospital. The two paths in the back of the property leading to the hospital were checked, but unable to locate anyone in the area.
8:11 p.m. - Caller from Gibson Drive reporting a noise complaint, loud yelling and talking. No loud music or yelling was heard on arrival, but all parties were advised to keep the noise down regardless.
10:29 a.m. Caller from Laurel Street states he believes his vehicle was taken for a joy ride last night by an unknown person. Wanted it on record the car had been moved overnight. Nothing appears to be taken, items inside were moved around seat, etc.
1:59 p.m. - Reporting party from Main Street would like a wellness check done. Residents have been complaining about a male party screaming and banging things inside of his apartment. Made contact, male party stated he was going to take a nap. No apparent issues.
3:08 p.m. - Caller from Summer Street reporting his wife’s Facebook account was hacked into and they sent money to the person who hacked it.
5:27 p.m. - Caller reporting there is a dog left in a car, the windows are down and the vehicle is running. Hannafords employees stated the male party is a frequent customer and leaves the vehicle running for the dogs. Officer advised.
8:28 p.m. - Caller reporting a male party has been watching her from the woods on Gibson Drive.

12:35 p.m. - Motor vehicle stop. Warning for tinted plate covers/obstructed plate and expired registration. Male party was parked at McDonald’s and was going to renew the registration through NC DMV online.
7:20 a.m. - Caller from Central Street reporting one truck using his jake breaks consistently through the South Athol area. Green cab, gray trailer and tan lettering. Officer advised.
10:02 a.m. - Caller would like to report a threat made to her while she was here in Athol on Aug. 16. Call was meant for Athol, Idaho.
10:10 a.m. - Caller reporting two young children approximately 9 and 5 years old left in a car on Tower Road. Checked the area, vehicle gone on arrival.
7:20 p.m. - Two-car accident on Freedom Street between at 2020 GMC Terrain and a 1995 Honda Civic. Officer requested additional units due to the parties being agitated. Operator of the Honda was cited for failure to keep right for oncoming traffic.
7:36 p.m. - Party in the lobby requesting to speak to an officer regrding an issue that happened at her house earlier. Female party stated a suspicious male party was standing at the edge of their yard when her kids were playing outside with her brother-in-law. Kids were brought inside and male party was then seen walking in their yard. Female party stated she was not home during the incident and found out about it later in the evening when she returned home. At this time the male party is unknown but was described as a young male party wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a black hat that was backwards.
4:42 p.m. - Caller reporting he used his Hometown debit card at Dunkin Donuts, realized they never gave his card back, and are now saying they do not have it. Spoke with employees at Dunkin and watched security video. Card was handed back to the reporting party.
8:34 p.m. - Caller has questions about money being left on her daughter’s car. Would like to speak to an officer. Reporting party advised of options.
10:10 p.m. - Report of a suspicious person at Silver Lake Beach. Party was fishing and was packing up to leave.
1:06 p.m. - Caller reporting that he caught a woman on a bicycle that broke into his parked car and attempted to steal things. Female took off from the scene prior to police arrival. It is an older white woman with gray hair and a red shirt. The reporting party located the female’s bike and bag of items behind Zeda’s. They identified and took what belonged to them. Other items were brought to the station for safekeeping. No other victims came forward.
7:29 p.m. - Motor vehicle accident and Freedom and Main Streets involving a 2024 Honda HR-V and a 2015 Jeep. The Jeep backed into the Honda at the stop sign located at Freedom/Main St. Damage under $1,000. Parties exchanged info.
