It was an impressive day for Hans Harris, as the Petersham resident checked two deer at Flagg’s Bait & Tackle in Orange to highlight Day 2 of the Massachusetts shotgun deer hunting season locally.

Harris recorded two of the 68 deer checked at Franklin County reporting stations on Tuesday. He took a 171-pound, eight-point buck, as well as an eight-point, 130-pounder.

Orange’s Wade Powling had also reported two deer in one day at Flagg’s, when he harvested a 159-pound, eight-pointer to go with a 95-pound doe on Monday.

Here’s the complete Tuesday list of the four Franklin County checking stations, including Monday totals from Flagg’s and Sunderland Hatchery.
