April 25 - 30

Thursday, April 25

1:26 p.m. - Caller from Oak Drive states there has been a suspicious vehicle parked in front of her house for approximately 20 minutes. Description was a dark blue or black small SUV, didn’t want to check for a plate because she “didn’t know if they had a gun or anything.” Reporting party worried about the vehicle parked near her house, she believed it was a dangerous person, although nothing suspicious had been observed by her. Vehicle operator was spoken with and found to have pulled over to make a phone call.

7:37 p.m. - Caller stated her tablet had been stolen out of her backpack at the library. Officers spoke with the reporting party over the phone about her concerns. She explained that she lost her tablet approximately two weeks ago and now believes one of her acquaintances may have taken it. She doesn’t have any evidence to support this claim but would like an officer to speak with the male party allegedly involved. Attempts will be made to speak with the individual.

Friday, April 26

7:51 p.m. - Officers responded to Roche Avenue to meet with a male party to retrieve a table that he allegedly borrowed. Item was retrieved and brought back to the owner.

11:23 p.m. - Dispatch advised of a car vs pedestrian on East Main Street. Upon arrival, no damage to involved vehicle. Female victim left the scene prior to officers arrival. Appears victim was hit only by side mirror while standing in the roadway wearing dark clothing. Area was checked with negative results.

Saturday, April 27

2:57 p.m. - Report of a male subject on an orange three-wheel electric bike on the airport property. He went down the Delta runway and is now in the industrial park. Officer responded and spoke with reporting party and then went to the Legion and spoke with male subject. He was advised to not go on the airport’s fenced-in area or be subject to prosecution in the future.

Tuesday, April 30

3:39p.m. - Officer responded to a minor motor vehicle accident that happened on West River Street. A Chevy rear-ended a Toyota while at the lights. Minor damage to the rear of the Toyota. No damage to the Chevy. Damage appeared to be under $1,000. Both drivers exchanged information and were advised it would be documented at the station if needed for insurance purposes. Officer reviewed the Yatco’s security footage and noted the Chevy was going at a very low speed at the point of impact.
